1. General Information
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings for any retreat, event or experience organised by Awake Alpha Retreats (“the Retreat”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
1.2. By booking a Retreat, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. Retreat dates, locations, pricing and inclusions are as detailed on our website and booking page at the time of purchase.
2. Booking and Payments
2.1. A deposit may be required to secure your place on a Retreat. The deposit amount will be stated at the time of booking.
2.2. Deposits are non-refundable unless the Retreat is cancelled by us (see Section 5).
2.3. The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline stated at the time of booking. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.
2.4. Prices are listed on our website at the time of booking and may vary between Retreats. Any promotional or discounted pricing is valid only at the time of offer.
3. Payment Plans
3.1. Payment plans may be available and must be agreed at the time of booking.
3.2. By entering into a payment plan, you agree to make payments on the agreed dates.
3.3. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of payments made.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1. Deposits are non-refundable.
4.2. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to support@awakealpharetreats.com .
4.3. If you cancel before the final balance due date stated at the time of booking, you may be eligible for a refund of payments made beyond the deposit.
4.4. If you cancel on or after the final balance due date, no refunds will be issued.
4.5. We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical circumstances or unforeseen events.
5. Changes or Cancellation by Us
5.1. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the Retreat, including but not limited to itinerary, instructors, accommodation, schedule or activities where necessary.
5.2. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.
5.3. If we cancel a Retreat, you will be offered:
- A transfer to a future Retreat; or
- A full refund of all payments made.
We are not liable for any additional expenses incurred by you (including flights or travel costs).
6. Participation Requirements
6.1. Participants must be aged 18 or over.
6.2. By booking, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the activities, including fitness training, martial arts sessions, breath work and cold exposure.
6.3. You agree to disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries or health concerns prior to attending.
6.4. Participation is at your own risk. You agree to follow all safety instructions given by coaches and instructors.
6.5. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
7. Liability
7.1. Participation in physical and personal development activities involves inherent risk.
7.2. Awake Alpha Retreats shall not be liable for injury, illness, loss or damage to personal property unless caused by our proven negligence.
7.3. You are responsible for arranging adequate travel, medical and personal insurance.
8. Photography and Media
8.1. During the Retreat, photographs and videos may be taken for promotional purposes.
8.2. By attending, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us in writing prior to the Retreat.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1. Personal information collected during booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9.2. By booking, you consent to us using your contact information to send essential Retreat communications.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
